Why not offer a basic solution for Cluster-Beowulf?

Hello…

I’m a small personal user who needs to create a cluster with several working NUC machines, and I don’t want to throw it away.
I’ve tried several solutions that supposedly work, but these software haven’t been supported since 2015.
I’ve tried Mosix, but it didn’t work for me. Another one, Rocks, is no longer available because there’s no CentOS support.
I think this could be a feature that could be implemented in Fedora Server for small users (up to 5 machines, free)… Then they could implement a more robust business solution…!!!

I’d like to know if this is possible for Fedora Server…!!!

Features are implemented in fedora by volunteers.
Are you volunteering to add the feature you want?

Sorry, Barry…

I’m not a programmer… I’m a general Linux user…!!!

It’s an application I’ve been looking for, but it seems the ones on the market are old and no longer supported.

I want to build clusters of machines (hardware)… not software clusters (Kubernetes)…!!!

The Rocks application is an application that’s supposed to do this…it was discontinued because it was based on Centos…Centos no longer exists…!!!

But Fedora does…!!!

Hi Marco,
I’m not a programmer, but I contribute in many other ways to the Fedora ecosystem.

The Linux community is certainly willing to entertain requests from non-programmers, but without being involved in some way there are just so many things to do and not enough time.

Untitled :: Fedora Docs is a place to get info on how you can start to contribute to Fedora. (oh, I have to add a title to that Welcome page  )

Cheers,
Mat
