Hi, When I boot with my USB that has Fedora on and I try to install fedora, the mouse is pretty laggy, I move my mouse and the cursor moves after 5 seconds. What can I do?
Please, make sure:
- You are using the latest stable release which is Fedora 30 at the moment.
- Your hardware meets the recommended requirements.
If the requirements are met, then try to use the basic graphics mode via the troubleshooting section of the boot menu or utilize other installation options.
It should also be possible to perform the installation without mouse using only keyboard or temporary attach the target HDD/SSD to another PC that is not affected by the issue.
Finding the reason of lags requires to gather comprehensive system information:
fpaste --sysinfo --printonly
It may be related to a slow installation media/interface or a missing/outdated video driver.
Note, that the lags may disappear after the system installation and/or upgrade.
