Why does Fedora use Node 12.22.9?

12.22.9 is EOL. How can I make Fedora use a newer one?

I see nvm being recommended, but that just installs the current version next to the old version which is still there, and as I understand it Node 12 has not received security updates since 2022. That seems like an issue.

You know what. I had forgot that node 12 was required for a class last year and I should just delete it.

So you had a specific version of node.js installed that is now EOL and would like to have it uninstalled automatically?

Did you mean NPM instead of NVM?
