Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and to Fedora, which I’m choosing as my definitive OS after trying several, let’s say it was love at first sight!
I’m not very expert in this world, I know a little because I use Raspberry and anyway I come from MacOS which I decided to abandon for various reasons.
Having said that, clean installation on imac 27" 2011, everything is ok, it starts and I update.
The problem is that updating the kernel upon reboot does not boot successfully.
While with the one in the ISO, which is 6.5.6-300, it starts easily. I couldn’t find the fail boot log, in the meantime if you can tell me where to find it I’ll write the last error lines:
“””
systemd[1]: Failed to fork off sandboxing environment for executing generators: Protocol Error
I think you can find some boot logs at /var/log. Fedora usually stores previous kernel versions during updates, you can boot with an older kernel by holding Shift key during boot and selecting which one from the grub menu. I think you should try that at least to confirm that your installation is not broken.
