Unable to boot uboot issue

Hello,

Since last update, I’m unable to boot on fedora 42.
There were several source for uboot package and the update was not possible. I’ve disabled one repo to be able to process the update. Since then, my m2 does not boot fedora.
I’m unable to enter/stop/modify grub process. The boot process stop with a blank screen displaying only: =>
Without any terminal option.

I can still boot on macOS.

Any idea to solve this issue ?

I finally reinstall F42 on my m2 and it boots fine now.

But, on the first update with Discover, I Still have this error message:

Multiple matches of uboot-images-armv8;1:2025.04-103.fc42;noarch;copr:copr.fedorainfracloud.org:group_asahi:u-boot

And I cannot update at all.
Any idea to solve it ?

Should be fixed now. This is a quirk of using copr as distro tools. There were two builds with the same version/release.

Do you remember which repo you disabled? copr:copr.fedorainfracloud.org:group_asahi:u-boot? I would have thought the fedora u-boot build would have worked (except for systems with SSDs larger than 2TB).

The steps in Troubleshooting :: Fedora Docs (using boot.bin.old) would probably resolved the issue.

Hello,

Correct, I’ve disabled this copr repo the first time.

I’ve managed to update my fresh install, with dnf this time.

Thanks
