The mouse is not working properly, there are dead zones

The wired mouse (A4TECH Bloody W 90 PRO) works fine in down and to the right, but when I try to move it up and to the left there are dead zones because of which I have to move the mouse very far to do something. What could be the problem and how can it be fixed?
Fedora 40 KDE.

Occasionally my trackball does similar. When that happens I remove the ball and wash it with soap & water as well as cleaning the support points and the sensor window in the base to recover.

Maybe cleaning the mouse in the area of the sensor would help. (I assume it is probably optical so it may be that the sensor window is becoming partially obscured)

I found a solution

Thanks for the answer, friend, but the problem is not with the sensor
