I don’t know if it’s due to the same underlying issue, but I too have the same symptom of a blank screen in Fedora 35 (not 36) starting with kernel 5.17.11: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/blank-screen-when-booting-kernel-5-17-11/75711
