I use Fedora on a laptop. I don’t need to keep millions of log files. I’d like to see a option to limit, write over oldest to keep them from growing like the national debt.
As @vgaetera points out that you can configure systemd journal to limit its disk space use. This works very well in my experience.
I would also uninstall rsyslog package and clean up the legacy log files that are in /var/log like messages etc. these duplicate what is in the journal.
