System freezing when unplugging usb-c charger laptop

I’m currently running Fedora 42. I had this problem with Fedora 41. I also had this problem in Arch linux.

System works fine until I go to unplug my usb-c charger. Its about a 50/50 that the system does a hard freeze requiring me to hard reset. Sometimes it takes a while to reboot the machine and it requires multiple reboots to get it back up.

Here is the output of my journalctl

Please let me know if there is anything else I need to provide.

system is running an nvidia 4090 and 12th gen i9 intel cpu.

Thanks
