Sleep mode turn off all apps

Could you tell from the logs at around what time did you leave the computer unattended, and when did you go to check its state?

When leaving the computer unattended, do you remember having Discord app open?

i left the computer on around 9h 15 , and maybe discord was on, and i came back around 10h 20 to 10h40 . Even tonight i decide to keep only the screen to go to sleep , and deactivate the when idle option, found my computer at wake up in the same state like logged out .

seems there’s a period of time that change the sleep status from suspend to logged out as i left my computer for 20mn today and it wakes up with a normal behaviour

That is also what the journal logs seem to show, I didn’t have the time to look more into them yet.

I’m pretty sure this is where the issue arises:

There’s some other permission denied errors a little later as well. It feels like there’s a race between your graphics card becoming available for use and X trying to display on it.

I’m not a NVIDIA person, but I found this documentation page that seems relevant (Known Issues at the bottom of the page).

At a terminal/command line, run: cat /sys/power/mem_sleep and see what it says?

This can indicate an issue.

Is there a reason that you’re logging into X11 and not Wayland? Are you experiencing the same issues under Wayland?

i never use wayland as i’m sharing sometimes my keyboard and mouse with my macbookpro thru Symless App called Synergy which doesn’t work on Wayland , so i get the habit to use x11 instead of wayland. Actually i can’t log to Wayland as i don’t have the choice at the loggin window … Just restart my computer after an update, discord is crashing very often and i had to wait 3/4 mn to get an internet connection with Chromium which is my internet browser.
I don’t know if it’s related but something i need to give 2 times my password for the system to log in
