Silverblue - 39 - Adding (try) "Enlightenment" desktop

Hi!

So I installed Silverblue few weeks ago and I learned that instead of installing a new desktop directly through rpm-ostree the user should actually rebase the installation.

I was able to do that with Budgie. So far is working just fine. No issues at all. But I just discovered the Enlightenment Desktop and I really want to experiment that on my notebook. The problem here is that I was not able to find a “spin” for it on the fedora repo nor on the ublue project.

The question is: Should I try install Enlightenment through rpm-ostree? Should I just try that through VM for now and not mess my setup?

Always, if trying something that major try the VM to test it before doing the same on the host bare-metal installation. All it costs is a little time and it may prevent a total meltdown of the host.
