Light weight environment for Fedora silverblue

I am using “Cinammon” environment on fedora silverblue however would like a lighter environment. I have tried enlightenment but it has too many issues

https://fedoraproject.org/atomic-desktops/

Have you tried any of the other desktops offered? KDE, Sway and Budgie?

Hey Joe thank you for the options , I have not tried those. Would love to install those on fedora silverblue if those are lightweight.

how do i install sway ,kde and budgie on silverblue. i would like to stick to silverblue thought. i like it.
is it just rpm-ostree install Sway or rpm-ostree install Budgie or rpm-ostree install KDE

Sorry for the oversight. after checking the link i understand those are atomic desktop however i would like to stick with silverblue

You would have to layer them with rpm-ostree as you suggested in your earlier post. It will probably be a bit of trial and error to get what you want/need installed. Considering that and how much this will install you might be better off trying to do this on a VM first.

Or try one of the atomic spins in a VM.

Kinoite is atomic similar to silverblue but uses KDE. That would be one of your options.

Xfce is my go-to (not sure how it is under Silverblue)

thank you very much for the helful information everyone .
