Self-Introduction

Hi everyone,

I’m Krish from Ontario, Canada.

I’m a software development student who enjoys working with Linux, web development, backend systems, and AI projects. Most of my recent work has been with React / Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, and C++

I’ve recently started using Fedora more seriously and wanted to get involved with the community through open-source contributions.

I’m still learning the open-source workflow, but I’m excited to contribute, learn from experienced contributors, and hopefully help with beginner-friendly issues in the Web Team.

Happy to be here!

Hey Krish,
Welcome ! Drop by the Join channel on Matrix and we’ll give you some pointers to help you get going.

Hi Krish! I’m Sam, a web dev from Las Vegas. I haven’t used Fedora for 12-or-so years but MAN! It is good to be back. Goodbye, bloatware.

I’m not sure how much I’ll be contributing off the bat, but I’m happy to be here for the discussions, tips, and tricks. What are you most excited about with Fedora?

I saw Matrix on the fedoraproject site, but it looks like there are a lot of social options on there. I got intimidated and dipped. Any suggestions?

I would say there are a lot of ‘on topic’ and workgroup rooms, but not a lot socially.

To start with, visit the #fedora:fedoraproject.org channel for genreal Fedora advice and the odd btrfs vs ext4 argument, and #social:fedoraproject.org for a random off-topic chat.
