Thank you Jeff. Helped me out too. I am running F39 T1650 (Lenovo) and I had these cuda-fedora packages installed. I followed the suggested solution and am now able to use the external HDMI monitor.
It seems how ever that the nvidia drives are not fully functioning since I get a “Falling back to Nouveau drives” when I boot the laptop. Either way I’m just glad to be able to use the secondary monitor again.
