Screen brightness bug after update

,

After updating to fedora 7.1.6-201.fc44.x86_64 kernel it seems that brightness is bugged on my laptop (AMD iGPU, Ryzen 5 5625U). If the brightness is set to 100%, it is like it is on 0%, but if I set brightness level to 95% it acts normally.
I also experience GPU (or screen?) artifacts while changing brightness

It may be a kernel regression or a issue from something else like your desktop software. Which desktop are you using?

If you reboot and use the previous kernel is the problem still there?

I am using KDE Plasma. Cant reboot right now and roll back kernel. Will try in a few hours

Not sure what you mean by roll back.

In grub you can choose the previous kernel.
Hold down the shift key when you are booting and the grub menu should appear.

Yes, everything is fine on 7.1.5-201.fc44.x86_64

That looks like a kernel regression.
You could try and report the regression to the linux kernel people.

Seems already reported 2511730 – Internal display backlight/brightness broken after kernel update on Fedora 44
