Hi all.
My digital output (S/PDIF) was working well until the last one or two updates I did. The other output is working fine, but I don’t use it because those are my crappy monitor speakers.
I found on the forum that audio has to do with the wireplumber software (Related Fedora Forum Chat).
I searched the web and found only somewhat related issues that do not really apply to my case (hardware not showing, pipewire suspends after restarting, etc.).
So I suspect it is the recent updates of pipewire since it is indeed some of the software that was updated in the last two weeks.
I am following the advice on the aforementioned chat to post the relevant info next.
My alsa log is ALSA LOG, and it has all relevant hardware info.
And the relevant upgrade transactions are:
gerado@fedora-at-cleopatra:~$ dnf history list pipewire

So I guess it was either ID 84 or ID 79. The relevant history is the following. First 84:

I would have tried rolling back these before posting here, but I don’t know how. And, of course, I would like to hear from someone experienced first . I am no expert at all, so maybe I am just jumping to false conclusions!
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
