We have the method of adding f<VERSION> tags to most topics.
This helps identify EOL issues, or to archive topics etc.
But they are not mandatory yet.
It could confuse users, but is a help message possible? Like:
Please add at least a version tag, for example: f40
Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private.
IMHO, first time questioners tend to not give a whole lot of important data, so when introducing them in the art of asking smart questions can include that also.
And I’ll learn to read the date when something is posted.
