I was born September/11/1965. In high school [https://www.mioc.hr/wp/?p=9913] I wrote my final work in pascal on Cromemco (system three).
I’ve done my practice in National Library and State Hydrometeorological Institute. Studied Philosophy and Linguistics. Returned to computers when my wife brought Mac SE from US where she was in Fulbright Program. After PowerPC debacle, I wondered what to do. I did not want to work on windows at home, and Linux and *BSD were known only in small circles of sysadmins. Finally, I found SAMS “Red Hat Linux 7 unleashed” with install media (CD) in a bookstore. That was it! It soon became my only choice. I did not install every version of Fedora (skipping a few, then did clean install) but I’m on Fedora since Fedora 1. Recently my wife gave me her old “Macbook air”, since I set her brand new one and made it look and feel like she is used to. She could not believe what she saw next morning: Fedora 35 runs at speed of light on hers “too old computer” (2012). I’ll have more time, so i decided to spend it learning as much as I can.
