I feel like #confined-users is disturbing without context. I’m talking with some people about re-establishing a focused Fedora Incident Response Team and a more general and informal #security-sig. What do you think about creating #security-sig as a top-level tag, and then having subtags for topics like confined-users, incident-response, etc., as requested?
The specific tags can be added after selecting #security-sig — this would be like strategy2028 or initiatives under council.
What do you thinik?
Likewise, should I make the various Atomic Desktops team tags subtags of #atomic-desktops-team? My inclination is that this is too much complication in this case.
Sounds good to me! When it comes to the ask-fedora tag, it could be also combined with selinux to #selinux-confined-users or so, which adds some context. But I guess at ask.fedora it is not that critical since users of the ask.fp tag will be already aware of the related SIG and its activities. For the actual SIG tag, both variants would be ok for me.
I would prefer to keep them as “regular” tags for now. A lot of users are using those to reference issues specific to their desktops and don’t know/understand the atomic brand yet.
