Request for testing: Packager Dashboard staging

Hi everyone!

Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on a number of maintenance improvements for Packager Dashboard, and we’d appreciate some help testing the staging deployment before these changes are promoted to production.

Some of the updates include:

  • Migrating the frontend build from react-scripts to Rsbuild.
  • Migrating from Yarn to pnpm.
  • Updating the project to Node.js 24.
  • Modernizing the container build and deployment.
  • Updating dependencies and general code cleanup.
  • Several bug fixes and maintenance improvements.

Related maintenance work has also been happening in Oraculum as part of the same effort.

If you regularly use Packager Dashboard, we’d really appreciate it if you could try the staging instance with your usual workflow and let us know if you notice any regressions or unexpected behavior.

Things worth checking include:

  • Does the dashboard load correctly?
  • Do package and group views work as expected?
  • Do filters and navigation behave normally?
  • Any other regressions compared to production.
