Re-lifeing iMac 13,2

Hi,

I recently removed macOS from an old iMac 13,2 I have and it’s working out of the box very well fedora 41. One item that didn’t install though was wifi. I have been using Ethernet up until now but want to get the wifi working so that i can put the iMac somewhere else.

if i lspci I see BCM4331 as the network controller for wifi. did i screw up during install to get this card ignored ?

wifi does not appear as an element in the settings app

ok, I figured it out as i manged to find similar articles after some googling rabbit holes.
