I am totally newbie to fedora coreos. I have no much knowledge of ignition file. I was able to bring up one VM using fedora coreos live cd with default ignition file which I got from my colleage. I forgot to add users to coreos. can i add users to coresos after os installation is done. My vm is up & running, but i can not loginto it.
can i make changes to OS after installing OS.
You can follow https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-coreos/access-recovery/ to gain temporary access and try to recover from there.
However, we do recommend just re-provisioning the VM with the proper Ignition configuration.
@lucab, thanks for the reply. I wanted to create separate partitions for /var/log and /var/lib on /dev/sda device in fedora core os. how do I specify partition size and mount point in ignition file. I have searched for ignition file which gives basic understanding of partition, but i could not find. Most of the ignition files explains of folders and files syntax.
Could you share or point me to document which explains how to define/create partitions in ignition file.
