Problem with settings up custom resolution

I installed fedora 38 xfce on my pc first time.Later i tried to add custom resolution (1280 1024) using xrandr but when i searched for the . profile file it seemed that there are no any . profile file.please help me with this.where i can add xrandr commands

If the .profile file is not there yet, you can create it yourself.

Look for ~/.bash_profile.

That would normally be done using Applications->Settings->Display and then set the resolution you want.

Is it that what you are looking for?
xrandr - ArchWiki

i tried it but it shows a lightdm error at login.
