I have used windows ever since. My last try to change to Linux was 20 years ago.
Back then the main problem was that my games did not work.
So 4 weeks ago I took an USB-stick and installed Linux Mint. That took me an hour and I had it running. Unfortunately I had some issues with steam and a friend of mine suggested using Fedora Linux.
I downloaded the fedora installer and made a KDE bootable device.
When i boot from that, fedora starts ok and i removed all partitions from my Sata SSD:
Rather that booting into the live environment and then clicking ‘install’, can you select ‘install’ from the first prompt that come up on boot?
Fedora is a good gaming system, almost everything runs. Only prob is that there is an extra step to install Nvidia (which is not the issue you face at this time).
You do get what I mean, sorry as you say there is no option for it.
You could install from the “Everything Netinstaller” and select KDE Plasma from the Anaconda interface there.
I’m not sure why the installer is having the problems you face, it could be a bug with the particular version you are trying.
F44 is also in Beta stage if you wanted to try that.
I believe this question just comes when already booted into the live environment. Then you get asked if you want to test the system or if you want install it directly. If you are to fast there, it might opens an installer in the background.
You might give your computer a bit more time to start without clicking anywhere, to see if the message to choose between test and direct install comes. The error says that you already have an anaconda (installer software) open.
As an alternative you could also test the beta version F44?!
