Hi Fedora community,
I’ve recently come across AMD’s new Wayland compositor, ACS Wayland, and it seems like a really exciting development for AMDGPU users. Given Fedora’s strong commitment to staying on the cutting edge, I was wondering if there are any plans to package ACS Wayland for Fedora, or maybe even an initial experimental COPR?
Having this compositor readily available in Fedora, even in an experimental capacity, could be a huge advantage for AMDGPU users, especially those who want to experiment with or adopt it as part of their setup. It would also align with Fedora’s reputation for providing easy access to the latest open-source technologies.
Does anyone have insights or thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance for any information or feedback!
