Hello,

My name is Richie, and I am located in Nairobi, Kenya UTC+3. My Fedora Account System username is hostwarm.

For this round of Outreachy, I am focusing on the project “Create a gateway from webhooks to Fedora Messaging.”

Regarding my background with open source and Linux, I am relatively new but have some basic knowledge and experience. I have worked with a few open-source tools and have a beginner’s understanding of Linux, specifically through using Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) with Ubuntu.

I am excited to learn more about Fedora’s infrastructure and how to integrate different systems through messaging during this Outreachy application phase. I am particularly interested in gaining hands-on experience with Fedora’s technologies and contributing to the open-source community.

Thank you for considering my application.

Best regards

Hello everyone, My name is Wanjiru Njuguna from Nairobi, kenya (GMT+3). I am sort of late to the party but I am excited to join in. My Fedora account username is @wanjirunjuguna .

I am focusing on the “Create a Gateway from webhooks to Fedora Messaging” project. This is my first interaction with open source, and I can admittedly say it’s pretty exciting and scary at the same time.
I am excited to learn all that goes on in the world of open source, enhance my Python programming skills as well as gain new knowledge whether that is a new programming language or new culture from interacting with everyone around here.

I hope to make some positive contributions to the Fedora community. Thank you.
