After upgrading my KDE spin from F37 to F38 the Nvidia driver seems to be bugged. My GPU will not hit the maximum frequency even when “Prefer max-performance” is selected in nvidia-settings. Also, I cannot overclock the GPU at all anymore. I checked the conf file and the coolbits value is still set. I can also see the PowerMizer page in nvidia-settings. Trying to overclock the card in the terminal gives an “Unknown error.” Does anyone have any idea what is happening? Plymouth also refuses to show on boot. IDK if that has something to do with it as well.
