I have free space left in the root partition and home partition but when doing any operations that needs writing to the storage like creating files/directories a “No space left on device” error pops up.
$ mkdir new
mkdir: cannot create directory ‘new’: No space left on device
This error also pops up when creating folder with GNOME gui.
df -h output:

My guess is that this is caused due to some improper shutdown of my system, but I have no clue.
Even normal operations like downloading files from browser fails, and dnf gets stuck when trying to install or update any packages.
I cannot afford to delete files in the process of trying to fix this issue.
