So, as read adobe, my SD card does not get recognized, so i went to a friend that runs an electronic tech store that focuses on repairs and they told me that it wasn’t anything superficial and let me on my own (i don’t have the money to pay an actual repair, so i have to do it on my own).
The thing is I don’t truly know where to start, I tried everything I knew about fedora, but maybe it wasn’t enough. For those who want to help, whenever I insert the SD card inside my PC, it does not load anything, not a single directory, so, Am I screwed??
So if y’all can help me it’ll be an honor.
Also, my first language is not English, so excuse me if I get some errors in this script
When you insert the card and run the lsblk command from the command prompt, or use GParted (or KDE Partition Manager if you’re using the KDE spin), do you see the device listed?
What is the history of the SD card? Is it new? Did you use another system to put data on it? Do you know what format it uses?
Does the SD card show up in Gnome Disks or KDE Partition Manager?
journalctl may provide helpful information. Read about the --follow option in man journalctl and run the command in a terminal, then insert the SD card and try to use it.
The SD card is roughly used, I’ve been owning it since almost 3 months now. It came new, no use or something like that and it was attached to my tablet (Samsung Tab A07 if it helps).
The SD doesn’t show on Gnome Disks, but I’ll try in KDE.
Also I’ll try the other bash entrances you gave me
zram is not an SD card, it is RAM used by the kernel to store compressed objects. Please try running journalctl --follow in a terminal then insert the SD card.
This is what I got, apparently, the SD is recognized as an USB storage unit, then it fails to get on the storage unit that it holds and then it “eject” the SD card. Those are the entrances that (I suppose) explain this situation.
I’ll be using the links you provided and will keep you all updated. Thanks !!!
