Set KDE Fedora 40 beta up. 2 monitors. After restart/relogin apps do not remember monitors, they where running at. All start on the main monitor.

Is this a wayland limitation or KDE / Fedora issue?

Updated KDE fedora 40 here. Same problem with more erratic results.

On Wayland one needs to reconfigure the dual display each times,
typically the screen size is forgotten, so at each restart the second screen is at minimal size (1024x768) and the two screens are no longer contiguous.
On X typically the primary screen is deactivated at start, but sometimes the opposite occurs.

I do not have such problems. Ryzen 5800X & AMD 480 video card.

My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad P1 Gen 4. From what I have gathered on the web it seems to be related to KDE.

Have you updated your software or are yu still running the Beta?

Yes fully updated, I installed fedora 40 over 39.

BTW I see you have a Nvidia video card, maybe you have to install propriete drivers:
