Monitor Color Profile & Night Light Issues under GNOME w/ Nvidia

Up until recently Night Light didn’t work for me at all. So I used Redshift instead.
Which worked.

However, it does not work under Wayland (like pretty much all software of this kind).

There, though, I discovered a manual workaround to force my monitor to update to the Night Light configs by switching the monitors’ toggle in the Color Profiles settings off and back:

Even on session startup with Night Light already enabled, it will not use it unless I do the method above.

I also need to manually toggle the profile to make the monitor update to Night Light’s enabled state.

This is not an issue on Xorg.

Another problem here is that only one of my two monitors appear there, for some reason. Consequently, only one of my monitors ever get Night Light. This is true for Xorg too.

The oddest thing here though is that on Xorg, the other screen does get Night Light, while the other doesn’t.
Which makes me quite confident to say that it isn’t about the monitors not being wired up correctly.

For further clarification - nvidia-drm.modeset=1 is indeed set, drivers version 570.144, installed with RPM Fusion, RTX 2060 (unfortunately.)

Would love any help on this matter!
(Ideally one that does not involve switching to AMD lol.)

How do you connect them, direct or over a docking station? Which connections, DP or HDMI? If HDMI are the cables from same quality? Are the ports same standard ?

Direct.

HDMI.

The exact same.

Quite certain.
