MAC address randomization for wifi on F40?

Did MAC address randomization change in F40?
After upgrading, the wifi adapter in my laptop got a different MAC address than before. Instead of experimenting more, I set the MAC address to the known previous address for the wifi connection for which it matters (MAC filtering).
I seem to remember that we had that for a previous upgrade already, but I might be mistaken, or for whatever reason it got activated on the upgrade F39->F40 (using dnf).
(Also, I didn’t find where to set that in Gnome’s wifi preferences; I use i3, though, and nm-applet where it’s clear if you ignore the drop-down choices …).

Hi, yes, see this change proposal.

Thanks, I guess that’s what I get for updating before reading the release notes :innocent:
