Hi I turned on performance mode in the bottom right power settings and after that I started lagging super hard in any game I play. I tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers, changing power plans back to balanced/performance again. Nothing worked except rebooting back to the previous kernel in the grub menu. Even then it’s only 90% of the performance that used to be.
I don’t know what’s causing this, it started after I touched the power plans. I currently have set it to performance and using the previous kernel.
I am on a Acer Nitro 5 Laptop. With Nvidia Optimus handling my iGPU and GPU.
Edit: Now I reinstalled Fedora 42 and now everything is working fine, games work without lag and Im getting my old FPS again. Sorry for not providing a debug log I don’t ha
