Hello,
I run Fedora 40 Kinoite in a QEMU/KVM virtual machine. All in all it runs fantastic, except for 1 thing:
with some programs/processes kwin-wayland takes over 50% CPU, making the fans on the host machine go overtime.
I have a Ryzen 7-6800 CPU of which I gave 8 cores to the VM, 8 out of 16GB of ram as well.
I have seen this happening with KDE system-monitor and now as well with Elisa, the music player. As soon as I stop the music the CPU percentage goes down and so do the fans.
Is there something I can check and possibly change, or do I get this until the final version comes out?
