yes I think the issue is related to kernel.
I did find a work around, installed brightnessctl, binded thru Settings>Keyboard Shortcuts>Custom Shortcuts of Fedora the keys super+f2 and super+f3 (the system do not detect just the keys f2 and f3 as is, as per the others functional keys f4,f5,f6,etc…).
Do you thinks is something that will be solved with the future updates?
