This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/kernel-vanilla/stable/

PSA: Due to a temporarily mixup (likely a missing git tag in the upstream repos) this copr for some hours distributed kernel packages with a identifier like 6.20.5-0.rc0.260227.c89ce241.200.vanilla.fc43. The number is wrong, as it’s kernel version 6.19.5 in there. Sadly, due to this, dnf will not install kernel 6.19.6 and later once they are out; please run sudo dnf distro-sync kernel to fix this.

I deeply apologize for the inconvenience. There was a safety check to catch and prevent this, but for some unknown reason it didn’t work. There is now a second safety check that works from a different angle to reliably catch this and prevent it from happening again.
