That linked thread was from 2023 with f37 and certainly is not relevant to f41 today.
However, a bit more searching would show several recent threads about similar issues, the same workaround solution, and that the current issue is caused by a change in dkms for most users. The dkms bug fix is being pushed right now and should be available very soon.
