It’s my understanding that Asahi Linux has support for M1 and M2 (and some variants).
Does anyone knows what happens if I try to install it on a Mac mini M4 ?
No screen, simple console or nothing at all?
Thanks.

The installer will refuse to install on any unsupported machine. It is meaningless to do so since each machine and firmware version has to be explicitly supported. The bootloader would crash and hang or reboot loop if you tried to install on an unsupported system. You wouldn’t get anywhere near the Linux kernel.
Thank you very much.
I guess I need to acquire an M2.
