Issue Launching steam

Hi!

After a recent dnf update, I steam appears to crash on startup. It loads for a couple of seconds, and appears to open the library pane, before suddenly running into an error and segfaulting on me. I’ve never had a similar issue before, and I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this. I have some experience using the package manager, but I’m not great at rolling back versions and resolving the ensuing conflicts. I’ll try to add more relevant information below.

It looks like my problem might be related to this issue Steam will not run - 30577 segmentation fault · Issue #13045 · ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux · GitHub . Could I fix that by rolling back my last update to mesa?

Can you open a Terminal and type steam ? It should produce some information. You could place it here for us.

For me, sudo dnf downgrade mesa-* fixed the issue
