I can’t use the internal wifi card in my laptop. I ran a hardware probe and the results are here: HW probe of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 1st... #20882efef0
My network card is recognized, but there is this error message: " The device is supported by kernel versions 4.5 and newer.
You are probably need to configure system for the device to work properly (modify kernel config, install firmware, etc.)."
I downloaded the iwlwifi-8000C-13.ucode file from intel and copied it to /lib/firmware and rebooted, thinking that this would maybe load it somehow, but the card still doesn’t work.
How can i fix this? Thanks.
