This is just a cosmetic issue. However, my system disk ended up with the name /dev/disk/by-label/fedora_localhost-live after installing Fedora Workstation 35. I believe this is the name used by the live media (“Live CD”) I used to install. It shows up in various places from time to time, and I’d like to change it.
How do I change the label without breaking my system? It’s a Btrfs system and I really don’t want to brick this system by doing something stupid.
Might be that the host-name should be first changed and afterwards the tab with the selection of auto config of file-system ?!
Would be nice while starting Anaconda, be informed that the host-name is " fedora_localhost-live" and it can be overwritten (in the same field). As I do have in mind, the host-name appears on the bottom right corner while the other settings are on the top of the window ?!
The developers are working hard on a major update to anaconda so changes right now to the one in use are not likely. It would be nice if they could make that more noticeable for the future though.
