IKEv2 VPN client configuration issue

I have an IKEv2 VPN configured using NetworkManager-strongswan. I have checked the “Use this connection only for resources on its network” but the setting seems to have no effect - all traffic is being sent to the VPN. Other VPN (in particular L2TP, PTPP) types do honor setting.

Any ideas?
Anyone know a good forum to ask for help?
