Huge flickering after kernel update

After regular dnf update, the new kernel 5.7.14 is installed and now I have huge flickering on my display. Flickering appears on almost all programs Chrome, Thunderbird, Dolphin …
The flickering remains even if I boot previous kernel version(kernel 5.7.11).
My desktop is KDE, processor is AMD Ryzen 5 3400.
I have tried several modificatons in my composer settings but nothing helped.
Any idea?

Does not sound like the kernel update messed that one up. Otherwise your previous kernel would still be fine.
Try to use sudo dnf history list and sudo dnf history info <id>, where <id> is the transaction id from the list, to find out what other packages got updated that could be the cause for that. What’s your graphics adapter?

dnf history shows:

Graphic adapter is Rx Vega 11 Graphics integrated with CPU

Could be one of those mesa-* drivers… If it was my system, I would try

sudo dnf downgrade mesa-*

or

sudo dnf history undo <id>

where <id> is the id in which the transaction happen (see dnf history list and history info)

It seems that downgrading mesa* drivers worked.
I haven’t witnessed flickerig for a while.
Thanks a lot!
