I installed the “wine” package group and found that the startup menu has packages I don’t need, such as “Wine Wordpad” and “Wine Mine”. I want to uninstall them but can’t locate the packages, how can I do this?
It is long since I worked with Wine and it is indeed using some extra brain cells. You are not alone with that. I searched for a Tutorial which might give you some help.
Check the section of > Manual deletion How to uninstall WINE applications
I looked in the Wine Software Uninstaller, but there was only wine-mono in there, no Wine Wordpad and no Wine Mine.
If Wine Software Uninstaller is not running, I don’t even have ~/.wine. I am confused. Is it just a shortcut?
Are you displaing hidden folders ?
