How to disable WiFi Direct - Security

Hi,

I asked ChatGPT on how to disable WiFi Direct and it offered me this setting in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf :

[device]
wifi.p2p-devices=no

However I could find no mention of this setting in NetworkManager’s documentation. I fear it is halucinating, as Generative AI are known to do sometimes.

Can anyone confirm that this setting exist ?

This does not match the official documentation, so it looks like a fake.

Moreover, Wi-Fi P2P is disabled by default and requires using nmcli to enable by creating a new connection of the wifi-p2p type and specifying the correct peer address.
