How do I get rid of Skype in Fedora 33

How do I get rid of Skype in Fedora 33?

Keeps coming up on switch on and cannot get rid of it.

Never use it anyway.

Is it a systemd service? If so, mask it.

How did you install it? RPM? Flatpak? From graphical software center?

How do I do that?

Do not know. It was a scam that put it on.

systemctl mask servicename

With whatever the servicename is.

It is not easy to help without knowing how you installed it in the first place, but try these commands. First, try to remove it with dnf:

sudo dnf remove skypeforlinux

According to Skype website, skypeforlinux is the name of the RPM package, if your scam changed it to something else, or you didn’t install it as RPM, this will fail. If you have graphical software center (GNOME Software, KDE Discover, etc.), open it and try to remove it from there.
