Hardware Testing Desires/Requirements (please submit ideas by 2024-12-02)

So, this came up in the ai-ml-sig meeting earlier this week and the discussion ended up being a bit chaotic. In the interest of having some productive discussions, I figured it would make the most sense to start with “what are we trying to do”.

Once we have this list, we can start categorizing and whittling down the list to what we need for a MVP and what can wait for later incarnations.

I don’t think that discourse is the best place to gather brainstsorming ideas so I created an etherpad doc for that purpose:

Does Fedora have any example of nonmanual testing features that depends on hardware?

not that I’m aware of, no. we had a beaker setup for a while but it never got used and was decomissioned.
