Gnome terminal on Wayland transparency broken in full screen mode

The gnome-terminal loses its transparency when used in full-screen mode. It was working just fine before, don’t know what triggered this behaviour.
I did install tlp which could’ve caused this affect but then I removed it and the issue still persisted.
I tried to boot F37 in Xorg session also once, and the transparency works just fine in the Xorg session.

Please help as I really use gnome-terminal in full-screen mode a lot while using nvim.

Can you please try a new user and see if the issue persists? If it does, it sounds like a bug in gnome-terminal that will need to be reported. It seems to work fine on X11 for me, but I don’t have a Wayland system handy at the moment to verify what it does there.

Tried it here on Fedora Linux 37 with an Intel integrated GPU and with Wayland active, with that I get the same effect as shown in the video above!
