Gnome shell memory leaks?

I am new to fedora, switch to linux from window recently, not sure it is the right place to ask question?

gnome-shell and gnome-software consume 200+MB and 400+MB respective, (I did not running gnome-software or download anything.) should I disable gnome-software auto-start?

gnome-shell is a core part of the GNOME desktop environment; it’s memory usage seems fine to me, and it shouldn’t be removed.

gnome-software is part of the graphical application Software; it’s an app store and you can update the OS through it. Its memory usage looks ok. You’re encouraged to try it out, but I usually opt to remove it and install everything command-line through dnf.
