Wondering if any of you know a way to solve this issue. So I added a new location to install flatpaks, in this case a games location..
In /etc/flatpak/installations.d I created games.conf which has this [Installation "games"] Path=/mnt/linux_data/Games/flatpak DisplayName=Game Installations StorageType=harddisk
Then I executed :
sudo flatpak --installation=games remote-add games ``https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
and finally :
sudo flatpak --installation=games install games info.beyondallreason.bar
The installation went well and in the right folder however I noticed this from “Discover”
I now have two possible locations named from FLATHUB and obviously each point to a different location. Is that a bug in Discover ? Is there a way to fix this?
Just a quick note, flatpak location management and where things go seem to be very limited from inside the Discover app.
I guess that is a separate subject and while I like KDE for being a powerhouse for customization, with the recent reviews I’ve seen on GNOME 50, I am seriously considering moving back to GNOME. But I have been dragging this because I have such an elaborate setup it would take time to do everything from scratch and stripping KDE out in favor for GNOME on my current installation, well, I’ve been told that can be very tricky.
I didn’t know of Bazaar until now but I will give it a try. I just took a look and it looks really similar to the app manager on GNOME.
I’ve tried Bazaar but I seem to be stuck with the same issue. I am only offered the Install button with no option to select where I want to install.. Is there something else I should do to get that option?
